Amplify becomes Wysda
A new name for the next chapter
We've been working on this for months. New brand, new identity, new website. Today, we're making it official: Amplify.lk is now Wysda.
Here's the story behind the change.
Why the change?
When we started Amplify.lk, we were a small team in Colombo building software for local businesses. That was the entire vision. Serve Sri Lanka, do great work, grow from there.
The "grow from there" part happened faster than we expected. Referrals led to clients in the Middle East. Then Europe. Then North America. The projects got more ambitious. The problems got more complex. We went from building websites to architecting systems that companies bet their futures on.
At some point, we realized the company we'd become had outgrown the name we'd given it. We were advising, building, and running technology that powered real businesses across the world. We needed a name that could carry that weight.
Colombo is still home. Always will be. But the name needed to reflect where we're going, not just where we started.
Wysda is that next chapter.
The meaning behind Wysda
We didn't want something arbitrary. We spent months exploring options, and kept coming back to the same idea: what actually makes us different?
It's not our tech stack. Everyone has access to the same tools. It's not that we work harder. Plenty of teams work hard. What we kept hearing from clients was something else: "You actually understand our business." "You knew what to build before we did." "You saved us from building the wrong thing."
That's when it clicked.

In an industry obsessed with data, we believe wisdom is the multiplier. Data tells you what happened. Wisdom tells you what to do about it. Data is available to everyone. Wisdom comes from experience, from pattern recognition, from understanding context that no dashboard can capture.
Every project we take on, we bring both. The technical rigor to build systems that scale. And the judgment to know what's worth building in the first place.
